Bangladesh's star all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz is set to debut in an overseas franchise league for the first time. He has been picked by Lahore Qalandars to play in the playoff stage of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially granted Miraz a No Objection Certificate (NOC), allowing him to participate from May 22 to May 25. This short window aligns with the PSL playoff schedule.

According to BCB’s announcement, Miraz will be representing Lahore Qalandars during the final stages of the tournament. The team showed interest in signing him after Zimbabwean cricketer Sikandar Raza had to leave the squad to play a Test match against England.

Lahore Qalandars are scheduled to play the Eliminator match on May 22. If they win, they will compete in the second qualifier on May 23 and potentially the final on May 25. The four-day NOC granted to Miraz perfectly fits this schedule, allowing him to contribute during the most crucial matches.
